Celebrating Black History Month: Brenda Robinson

CHARLOTTE, NC- February is Black History Month and Terrance Bates is introducing you to Charlotteans who helped change and shape the future of our nation. 

Brenda Robinson was the first African American woman to join the U.S. Navy. She attributes her success to those around her, including her naval classmates. 

Robinson previously stopped by Rising to discuss her camp for students interested in aviation.
