Students & Faculty At UNCC March As One Against Racial Injustice

CHARLOTTE, NC — Students, faculty, and staff came together at UNCC to march against inequality and police brutality Wednesday.

The march began around noon at the Student Union on campus. Organizers say students, faculty, and staff were encouraged to attend the event that was to “march against racial injustice and police brutality.”

The march comes after a week of protests and rallies throughout the Charlotte area following the fatal shooting of Keith Lamont Scott by a CMPD officer.
