NASCAR Cup Driver Kyle Larson Surprises Charlotte-Area Kids with Toys

CONCORD, N.C. – After a successful NASCAR season, Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) driver Kyle Larson is joining together with team partner Target as the holiday season approaches to surprise kids at a Charlotte-area Boys and Girls Club with a wide variety of electronics products, including fitness trackers, and board games available at Target. Target has shown a consistent dedication to the community and a commitment to wellness, and these donations, totaling over $5,000, highlight those endeavors. CGR pit crew members will also be on hand to help hand to help make the holiday season brighter for all these kids.
During a successful year both on and off the track, Larson and Target have enjoyed several charitable, surprise and delight moments together this season. Earlier in the year, Target helped Larson provide toys for children affected by floods in Southern West Virginia, and prior to the Darlington race, Larson and Target delivered 50 backpacks and back-to-school supplies to a disadvantaged elementary school in Darlington, S.C. More recently, Larson and Bullseye, the Target dog, visited two elementary schools in Dallas, TX to donate gift cards and books in support of Texas Motor Speedway’s Speeding to Read program. Larson has also made visits with Target to Target House at St. Jude Children’s Hospital and has donated library supplies to a Phoenix-area school.
