Two Suspects In Rowan County Home Invasion Arrested

UPDATE: Officials say both Dustin Hinson and Douglas Patrick were arrested Friday.

During Dustin Hinson’s arrest deputies also arrested Samuel Yost, 19, and Haley Dial, 24, who were in a car with Hinson.

Yost was charged with Felony Probation Violation, and Dial was charged with misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Probation Violation.

UPDATE: Officials come up empty handed after following multiple tips Wednesday on the whereabouts of two suspects considered to be armed and dangerous.

Officials say the first tip came in saying the suspects were at a Salisbury Walmart. Deputies stopped a vehicle matching the suspect’s vehicle description, but say it was not them.

Other information gathered around the same time, according to officials, said the suspects were in a mobile home at the Eastview Mobile Home Park on Eastview Drive. Deputies surrounded the home, which was believed to be occupied, and secured the area until a search warrant could be obtained. The Rowan County Sheriff’s Special Response Team then entered the home and found it to be empty, according to reports.

Officials are continuing their search for these suspects and ask anyone with information to contact Salisbury-Rowan Crime Stoppers at 1-866-639-5245.
