Panthers Sign Safety Mike Adams To Two-Year Deal

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers have signed free agent safety Mike Adams to a two-year deal, according to reports.

Adams played the previous three seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, where he earned Pro Bowl honors following the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

In 13 seasons, the undrafted veteran from the University of Delaware has totaled 25 interceptions and 737 tackles, while playing with four different teams.

Adams will likely assume the strong safety role and team with Kurt Coleman to give the Panthers two formidable veterans at the safety positions.
