Governor Cooper Attends Sealed Air Ribbon Cutting In West Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, NC — Governor Cooper celebrated the opening of Sealed Air’s new global headquarters in west Charlotte.
The governor attended the ribbon cutting Wednesday afternoon. Officials say the campus will house more than 1100 workers.
The governor also spoke with WCCB about an executive order he is working on to improve protections for the LGBT community. Cooper says the order will be a first step in the fight against discrimination but did not release any details on what will be in the order or when it will be signed.
