83 “Blood” Gang Members Arrested In Local Crackdown
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Law enforcement officials have announced the arrests of over 80 people in a local gang crackdown.
The arrests of 83 members of the United Blood Nation occurred early Thursday morning, in the Charlotte area.
A large police presence was on hand as suspects arrived at the federal courthouse to face charges.
The 163-page indictment includes charges for murder, assault, firearms possession and other crimes.
No specific information regarding the nature of the operation that led to the arrests has been released.
