Chasin’ Jr.:The Final Ride

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Since  1999, we’ve watched Dale Jr. take checkers in a cup series 26 times.  Sunday at Homestead, that era will end.

Dale Jr. is the face of NASCAR, voted most popular driver 14 times.   He’s been through it all from watching the tragic passing of his dad, to showing his appreciation to his loyal fans riding along side him for 19 years.

Through all the twists and turns, the ride with Dale Jr. has been memorable.  He will retire 20th on the all-time wins list.

Even though he’s never won a cup series championship, his impact on the sport of racing surpasses anything that can compare to a trophy.

Sunday, it will be one final ride for the 88.
