Wilson’s World: Behind the Scenes at Domtar Paper Company

ROCK HILL, S.C. –  Wilson was in Rock Hill where he stopped in to visit the employees and take a tour of the converting center of Domtar Paper.   The center is responsible for taking the paper rolls that are shipped to their location and converting them into paper forms and sheets that are ready for commercial use.

The employees talked with Wilson about the company’s family atmosphere and how the company gives back to the community globally as an Earth Choice Ambassador.  For every tree they cut down, they plant 3 in its place. They work with the local community as well, recently partnering with Old Pointe Elementary in Rock Hill to complete their Ben Carson Reading Room.  They also work with Classroom Central donating over 40,000 books this year.

Domtar Corporate is a producer of paper used in banks, schools and businesses, as well as specialty packing items, medical applications, personal hygiene products and even baby diapers.
