Wilson’s World: Learning More About Blue Heel Socks and Kelly Hosiery Mill

Purchase customized Wilson's World socks from Blue Heel Socks and help the Salvation Army Angel Tree.

HICKORY, N.C. – Wilson was at Kelly Hosiery Mill in Hickory today where he was introducing us to Blue Heel Socks.  Everybody needs socks and purchasing socks from Blue Heel not only keeps your feet warm, but also supports a local family business as well as helping community outreach programs.

Chris Kline with Blue Heel joined Wilson to talk about the company’s commitment to produce a quality product made in the USA while supporting the community.

Blue Heel socks are made from nylon and recycled nylon and customized for each purchaser.  Their turn around is quick with only about 3 weeks to produce.  Wilson went behind scenes to find out more about the concept behind each customized sock as well as into the plant at Kelly Hosiery to see how they are manufactured.

Wilson was excited to announce that Blue Heel is teaming up with Wilson’s World to help the Salvation Army.  Wilson has designed his own Blue Heel crew sock to raise money for this year Salvation Army Angel Tree. 50% of the sales will go directly to Angel Tree.

You can help this year’s Salvation Army Angel Tree by purchasing Wilson’s own custom sock.  There are 3 different color/design options to choose from.    To find out more about the sock and to purchase go to the Blue Hill Sock website HERE or call them at 844-BLU-HEEL (844-258-4335).  Wilson’s special customized socks will make great Christmas gifts!
