Marvin Beach

Fox Charlotte's Marvin Beach joined the team in May 2009. As a Reporter and Photographer, he shoots, writes, and edits his own stories. He also works behind the camera with your favorite Fox Charlotte anchors.
He graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism from the University of South Carolina. While in the Capital City, he interned at WIS-TV in Columbia. A native of South Carolina, Marvin grew up in Inman.
He's very excited to be part of Charlotte's most creative news team. In 2010, Marvin won first place for Spot News from the RTDNAC.
In his spare time, Marvin enjoys watching and playing sports. He's a live-long Braves baseball fan and also loves the Panthers and Bobcats.
With his mom a native of the Philippines, Marvin enjoys sharing his Filipino culture with others and following news from abroad. His dad is an amateur radio operator and retired high school teacher.
