Go AWOL! Charlotte's first and only BYOB Spring Music Festival, AWOL The Benefit, is right around the corner. If you're tired of paying outrageous prices for drinks at other events, you're going to love the BYOB and VIP options of AWOL The Benefit. Spend the day at one of Charlotte's best venues and help raise money for two of the city's most worthy causes, Don't Break the Bond and Camp Care. Pre-sale tickets are just $30. You can also take advantage of VIP all-you-can-drink tickets for $50.
Join in the fun at Symphony Park on April 30th, 2011. Gates open at 11a.m. and the bands begin at noon. The lineup includes national headliners Mike Posner and Matt & Kim, along with regional favorites Paper Tongues, Simplified, Sugar Glyder, Matrimony, Lucky Five Band and BPL.
AWOL The Benefit will also feature other events and activities like the Corn hole for Cancer Tournament, dance competition, free style battle, as well as food and drink vendors.
It gets better! Want a free ride to and from AWOL The Benefit? There’s free shuttle service to and from AWOL The Benefit from Uptown, SouthEnd, and NODA locations. The first bus leaves at 11a.m. and the last one leaves Symphony Park at 10p.m.
