Event Description

Africana Studies Department at UNC Charlotte is collaborating with the Harvey B. Gantt Center as the intellectual partner for the exhibition In conjunction with the exhibit Cash Crop, Eddy Souffrant, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of North Carolina Charlotte, will lead the discussion on capitalism, globalization and human rights. Dr. Souffrant’s extensive research includes Ethics, Social and Political Philosophy, Caribbean philosophies, Identity, Collective responsibility, Ethics and International Affairs, Corporate responsibility and Diversity in organizations.

Galleries will be open from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
