FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

The True Change Band and two other Charlotte organizations are collaborating to present, a “Day of UNITY”, a community gathering to help raise funds for The Church of God Children’s Home in Concord, North Carolina. So remember to bring a few dollars for the donation box.
This is also a gathering to signify the great Unity that our city can build and our search for “Great” leaders of the Church.
This event will also be a photo and video shoot; we will later use this video footage and photos during our live music event at Elevation Blakeney. The Charlotte community is invited to come out and become a part of this photo and video shoot.
We will be holding a balloon release and dove release to signify our Theme of UNITY. We will also join in unison of song. The community is invited to join us on the Public Right Away, to help build Unity and meet members of the True Change Band and many other Charlotte organizations. Thank you for your consideration, come join us in UNITY!

Date of Event: May 5th 2012 (Date will change, for inclement weather, due to rain. Any date changes, due to inclement weather is posted on our main page, of the True Change Band website)

Time of Event: 1:30p.m. (You should be in place at this time for the photographers and video teams, come earlier if you like) (The ceremony will start around 2:00p.m. Lasting no longer than 30-minutes)

Location: Public Right-Away in Front of Calvary Church, Corner of Rea Road and Pineville-Matthews Road, (Highway 51) Charlotte, NC. (Directions posted on the True Change Band website)

Parking Details: This is a park and walk event. We will post parking areas that are available, areas around the church. These parking areas will be within walking distance to the gathering site. They will be posted on the band website for your convenience.

What You Should Wear: We are asking that you all wear RED shirts… Remember this will be a visual of UNITY; we should all wear RED shirts, to signify Unity.
