Celebrate Independence Day in historic downtown Waxhaw! The 23rd Annual July 4th Parade will take place along Main Street beginning at 10:00am. After the parade, children from three to eight years of age are invited to take part in a “Bring Your Own Big Wheel” race on East North Main Street. At 5:00pm the celebration continues with a Beach Party, at the corner of Highway 16 and Waxhaw Parkway. Singer, Glen Shelton will be performing for the crowds as they enjoy delicious concessions, a children’s play area, curiosities and the early selection of their seats for the Town of Waxhaw Fireworks Display, set to take place at 9:30pm. There’s no better place to celebrate our freedom, this year, than historic Waxhaw!
