Anson County Chamber of Commerce presents the15th annual Big-Game HUNT TOURNAMENT..Over $5,000 is awarded in prize money for daily largest buck and largest doe, and overall largest buck and doe. The tournament includes a separate prize category for youths 10-15 who have completed a hunter education course. Game taken in Anson, Montgomery, Richmond, Stanly and Union counties are eligible, but must be officially weighed in at the Ansonville Volunteer Fire Department, located on U.S. 52 across from Ansonville Elementary School.
