The Ansonia Theatre, 112 South Rutherford Street, Wadesboro, NC, presents the 1967 musical comedy with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schultz in his comic strip "Peanuts". You will see such "Peanuts" characters (in addition to Charlie Brown) as "Little Red-Haired Girl, Lucy, Schroeder, Sally, Linus and Snoopy. Some of the songs are, "My blanket and me", "The Doctor is in (Dr Lucy)", "My New Philosophy" and many more. This performance is by local talent and is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
