Event Description

Join the Charlotte Mecklenburg Drug Free Coalition for a panel discussion on black tar
heroin (BTH) and how it has become a growing concern in Charlotte and other midsized
cities – where opiate use is nearly three times higher than two years ago.
Learn how BTH impacts individuals and our community, and how we can work
together to end this problem. A diverse group of panel members will include prevention
and treatment professionals, a Drug Enforcement Administration officer, an addict and
the parent of an addict.
