CHARLOTTE, NC (September 14, 2012) — Attention all beer enthusiasts: the third annual Lake Norman Beerfest is here, and tickets are going fast.
The biggest names in brewing will gather at Kenton Place near the Galway Hooker in Cornelius, NC on September 22, 2012 from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. to feature a day of great beer, food, and fun.
With more than 50 craft beers from brewers such as New Belgium, Abita and Charlotte’s own NoDa, the 2012 Lake Norman Beerfest is undoubtedly the number one local event to explore a varietal selection of local, national, and international brews for one low price.
“We are excited to host the third annual Lake Norman Beer Festival in Cornelius and look forward to showcasing some of the world’s finest brews for the area’s beer enthusiasts,” says Chris Boukedes, Executive Director of the Lake Norman Beer Festival.
A great lineup of live entertainment will include bands Simplified (3-5 p.m.), Of Good Nature (5-7 p.m.), Dave Kellan (7-8 p.m.), and Charity Case (8-9 p.m.). Local venders will be on site to provide a variety of great food, and raffle drawings will be held throughout the day for Beerfest and affiliate-brewery merchandise.
General admission is $25 in advance and $30 at the door, and a limited number VIP admission tickets are available for $50 in advance and $60 at the door.
The VIP experience includes one hour early admission, access to an exclusive VIP area, and a gift bag including a collector’s glass, a Lake Norman Beerfest t-shirt, raffle tickets, and brewery giveaways. The exclusive VIP area will include food provided by BOUK Catering, exclusive VIP beers, private seating, and private restrooms.
A portion of all proceeds will benefit ACE & TJ’s Grin Kids, through which the show hosts take as many children as financially possible to Disney World with their parents and siblings.
