Are you concerned about making your mortgage payments or losing your home? The N.C. Foreclosure Prevention Fund™ provides assistance to homeowners who have suffered job loss or other hardship by paying the mortgage, taxes and insurance while they seek employment and are able to recover. There is no cost for the assistance and the homeowner does not need to be past due on payments to qualify. The Fund also offers loans to pay second mortgages for homeowners who are employed but who are unable to make their monthly mortgage payments because of a prior job loss or reduced income. Mr. Everett Stiles from North Carolina Housing Finance Agency will be here to tell you about the program and answer your questions.
