This free workshop is for Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) family caregivers.
Return to event list.Includes: behavioral variant FTD (bvFTD), primary progressive aphasia (PPA), progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), corticobasal syndrome (CBS), dementia with aphasia, semantic dementia, and Pick’s disease. The workshop presenter will be Dr. Don Schmechel Dr. Schmechel is a board-certified neurologist and currently practicing at Southeastern Neurology and Memory Care. He is the former Chief of Neurology, Durham VA Medical Center, former Director of Joseph & Kathleen Bryan ADRC in Durham, former director of a memory center in Granite Falls, N.C., has published over 150 articles, and is active in clinical research studies. He is interested in FTD and PTSD, as well as other cognitive disorders. |
