Wayland, named after the band's hometown area in Michigan, has been a band for 6 years, but has only had their name since 2010. The band is managed by Jude Cole (Lifehouse) and Jesse James Dupree (Jackyl, Full Throttle Saloon). The band lives, and rehearses in a pre-civil war farm house in West Michigan when not on tour, which is very rare these days. Wayland released a 4 song EP in December 2011, wich includes the current single "Welcome to My Head" which is #1 on 97.9 WGRD Grand Rapids, and their tribute to a MI great, Bob Seger's "Fire Down Below."

Joining the line up is none other then the Neil Jackson Band.

Neil & JD (Steel Standing) contiune on adding lead guitarist Brandon Strickland, and percussionist Jim Clardy. The band is currently in the process of writing and recording a new album. Gathering a large loyal following throught the years, is causing high anticipation for the new album. When asked what this new album would be about, Neil said, "Life.I have written about some many things over the years, struggles, heart break. But I am completely happy in life now. My first single, "Hate You", is a plea to a very good friend to wake up. I have written about my son, society, faiths, etc. You will see a few twists on this album, sounds, styles, subject matter. I can't wait to unleash and share." His debut album "Neil Jackson" will be released in spring 2013.
The rest of Neil Jackson's career is yet to be written...

Opening up the show will be Concord's very own Blu Avenue.

Blu Avenue is a progressive rock band that captures the mind, body and soul with a wide range of soaring melodies, potent lyrics and a distinct musical landscape that takes the listener on a musical journey.

R.K. Entertainment will of course be running sound and RKE's good buddy DJ Mike On The Mic will be the MC for the evening.

Save the date and come enjoy some good real music
