Don’t miss the red-carpet worthy, star-studded coming attraction at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. “Lights. Camera. NASCAR.,” the newest and largest exhibit to date, spotlights the industry like never before. This special exhibit illustrates the tremendous reach and appeal NASCAR holds as both a means for movie promotion and the starring focus of a film. While the sport originated on dirt tracks across the South, NASCAR has certainly found an A-list home in Hollywood in recent decades. Glitz and glamour await as you explore NASCAR’s legacy on the big screen from the promotion of the blockbusters like “Jurassic Park” on the track to starring roles in smash hits like “Days of Thunder.” Artifacts are ready for their close-ups and include items like the Cole Trickle car from “Days of Thunder,” the Doc Hudson car from “Cars,” the Wonder Bread car from “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby” and dozens of other artifacts straight from the set. “Lights. Camera. NASCAR.” opens in mid-May and runs through October.Return to event list.
