Chris Jones is the developer and creator of March Aerobics. This type of aerobic exercise is guaranteed to help you burn 800-1000 calories per hour. March Aerobics is derived from Traditional and HBCU Marching Bands. Chris was the drum major at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC and at Jackson State University in Jackson, MS. Chris has two DVD's. The first named "The Basics" and the second named " The Real Deal" with both combined selling over 10,000 copies. Chris broke The Guinness Book of World Records for the longest aerobics class in 2006 for 25 hours and 11 minutes non-stop and again in 2009 for 26 hours non-stop. Chris is a Certified Personal Trainer and Aerobics Instructor. He’s very passionate about his craft and fitness and his goal is to become an International Fitness Icon.Return to event list.
Chris will be attempting to complete 40 hours of non-stop aerobics on June 1, 2013. The previous record was 39 hours and 20 minutes. To obtain this record, 10 people have to be on the work-out floor at all times during the 40 hours. We are asking for the community’s help in this attempt. If you would like to participate, simply show up on June 1ST. There will also be sign in sheets at Energy Sports and Fitness if you want to sign up for a particular hour.
