Charlotte's local history was shaped by the unheard voices and unacknowledged contributions of its enslaved population. Learn about life on a backcountry antebellum plantation through the eyes of Rosedale's blacksmith, Nat Caldwell. The third in Rosedale's Unheard Voices series, Nat will share about his life and that of his wife and children in the "big house." Regular tour prices apply: $10.00 adults, $8.00, 65+ and K-12. Tickets also will be available at the door starting at 1pm on the day of the program.
