An Event for Dogs and families who adopted each other from That'll Do Again, a herding dog rescue organization. A day devoted to the joy of learning and playing with your dog. You will get an opportunity to understand what motivates your dog and how you can have a better relationship with your furry kid than you may have thought possible.
Return to event list.Play Day provides an opportunity to socialize with others who all have a common interest in dog rescue and the adopted dogs who have become a part of their lives. Activities include Rally: Rally Obedience is a timed event of performance stations arranged in a course and is judged on how well each maneuver is executed by a dog and handler team. Handler and dog walk a course by following a series of signs placed along the course and performing the exercise listed on each sign. Attention Training – Watch my face little doggie Really Reliable Recall – Drop what you are doing and come back to me Tricks and Games – Jumps and Chutes - Teach your dog to jump a series of jumps and go tunnel. Herding Demonstration - Herding is an amazing way to see how a herding dog thinks and solves problems. Bob and Lexis have volunteered to work with a novice human who would like to experience herding semi cooperative sheep. |
