CHARLOTTE, NC-An award winning show choir is giving the show "Glee" a little competition!  There is a CMS show choir made up of 60 kids, who not only practice daily, they compete, and win every year!

8th grader Foster Machicote says "we go to competitions too and perform just like Glee does." The choir, the Community House Choraliers, practice every morning before school at 7am. It's that dedication that's helped them win trophy after trophy. In fact, they just won first place in regionals. 8th grader Lauren Plunket says "there are some mornings I just didn't want to wake up but seeing how it pays off in the end, it's just a great feeling."

They are a lot like the Glee kids, they can sing, dance, even act, but these kids are only in middle school. They've been around long before Glee, they started 4 years ago.  8th grader Jordan Fife says "it's learning the dance moves, I'm not much of a dancer, singing comes naturally it's just the dancing part that's hard."

They are getting ready for a big talent show on Thursday, June 3rd at 6:30pm.  Tickets are $5 and the proceeds will go to the fine arts program.
