CHARLOTTE, N.C.--Kelly Clarkson announced via her Twitter page that she is engaged. 

She sent the tweet out Saturday and posted a picture of her engagement ring. 

The former American Idol winner said, "I'M ENGAGED!!!!! I wanted y'all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever :)" 

Clarkson's fiance is Brandon Blackstock.  He is a Nashville-based talent manager.  He is also the son of Clarkson's manager.
