CHARLOTTE, NC - An injured North Carolina Marine got a big surprise at Trace Adkins' concert in Charlotte.
The country star brought Gary Stouffer's entire family on stage while he performed "Semper Fi." He also presented the wounded warrior with a check from BC Powders for $1,000.
The gift was part of the company's "Like, Share, Change the World Program."
Stouffer is still an active duty Chief Warrant Officer. He's served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 17 years. He was injured in Afghanistan when his convoy was attacked.
Adkins wrote the song for the Marine Corps and dedicates it to Marines at all his concerts.
