Edge on the Clock: Instagram Selling Photos?

Facebook may be looking for a way to make money off its Instagram purchase.  The word on the street was that they were planning on using user-uploaded photos for any purposes they saw fit in the future, including commercial ones.  The company is now saying that was never true.  Either way, was there ever a market for photos of every menu item you've ever ordered... and your cat?
