Man on the Edge - Media Self-Censorship?
Blood, pain, and fear were things none of us wanted to see yesterday, but found unavoidable every time we turned on the news. And in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon tragedy, the media is getting some of the hottest backlash.
Images of blood, terror, and sometimes highly graphic injuries were being published, broadcast, and shared as the news spread like wildfire across the media networks. But were the images too raw for press, or just the result of real-time disaster coverage?
