Man on the Edge: Toilet Tweeting

Tools

by FOX News Edge

A new study says "toilet tweeting" is on the rise, especailly among young adults 18 -24.  As many as 32% of them think there's nothing wrong with using "personal time" to facebook, tweet, instagram, or whatever.  Only 15% of the 35 - 44 crowd do it regularly, but 75% of all people surveyed said that had done it at least once.

People a lot like... Jessica Simpson.  Remember when she tweeted her feet dangling from a too-tall toilet bowl last year?  The weirdest part is that someone else had to take that picture.  Ewww.

Celebrity weirdness aside, social interaction from the john is becoming so common that a new company (one with a name we can't say on TV; let's just say it rhymes with "twitter") has taken the phenomenon to a whole new level.  For 35 bucks, they'll take any twitter feed you want, and print it on toilet paper.  So you always "feel" connected... we guess.

So how do you feel about being that connected when it's "go time"?  You probably don't wanna talk on the phone with somebody who's indisposed, so does it make a difference when you're tweeting or texting?  Robert Wilder hits the streets to flush out some answers!
