by FOX News Edge

It's super cute to see kids getting their first boyfriend or girlfriend, and you hear about their dating adventures all through high school and college, even past graduation.  But in a world where we're living longer, waiting longer, and getting divorced more often, that leaves grown-ups in the dating scene as well.  Old enough that "boyfriend" or "girlfriend" may sound less natural, and more just silly or even condescending.

People love to categorize and label things, and you have to call that person you're dating something.  But while some people think it's cute to talk about Gramma's "boyfriend", that 70-year-old guy she's seeing might think it sounds immature or even undignified.

But what other options are there?  "Friend"?  "Gentleman Friend"?  It all feels like it's either too little or too much.  So what do those of a certain age call their special honey-boo?  When are you too old for a boyfriend or girlfriend?
