It's not just twinkies.  Ho Ho's, Fruit Pies, Cupcakes, and Sno Balls are all in serious peril now that Hostess has gone under.  More importantly, the company's demise has put 18,000 people out of work.  Enough for the government to step in?  Hey, when it was declared that the auto industry was "too big to fail", Uncle Sam swept right in to save the day.  So where is he in the Twinkie's time of need?  Robert Wilder shares the love in uptown to get the word on the street.
