HOLLYWOOD, CA It's one of the longest running shows in television history, and it's often referred to as the original reality show. “COPS” has followed police officers from around the country and even in other parts of the world but never the queen city.

"You know something I'm now going to put that on our schedule for next season. We will come to Charlotte, we'll be there for the 25th season," say John & Morgan Langley.

After being on nearly a quarter decade this father and son team enjoy the show's lighter moments.

The format of the show has changed very little over the years and Morgan says there's a great reason why.

"I think what keeps the show running is that it's just the most real show on TV. It's totally raw. You don't know what's going to happen, it's all in the moment. We're still the most real raw show on TV.”

Back-to-back episodes of "COPS" air every Saturday night from 8 to 9 on FOX CHARLOTTE.
