For nearly 100 years, Montreat College has provided a Christ-centered, student-focused, and service-driven education while equipping agents of transformation, renewal, and reconciliation. In short, faculty at Montreat can help you grow as a student and as a person, no matter what goals you’d like to achieve.

With Associate, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees, Montreat College has educational programs to suit a wide variety of students at six North Carolina locations: Montreat, Asheville, Charlotte, Black Mountain, Raleigh, and Rocky Mount. In addition to developing competency in your chosen major, you can also build writing, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills while you learn to work as part of a team.

At Montreat College’s traditional campus, you can also live a lifestyle of Christian service to others. Welcome Week service projects expose new students to the needs of the local community, and events like the Fall Service Retreat, Call to Action Week, and Spring Break Mission Trips allow students to continue to help others. Students can also serve on the Service Learning Team, which promotes leadership and service throughout the student body.
 
But the fun and fellowship doesn’t stop there. As a  member of the Montreat community, you can cheer on one of 13 sports teams, join one of a variety of student organizations, or enjoy one of the many hiking trails or outdoor activities our students love.

Students at Montreat come from more than 30 states and more than 10 countries across the world. With a 9:1 student-to-faculty ratio on our Montreat campus, you’ll receive plenty of personal attention and assistance as you complete your education. Ninety-eight percent of our students receive financial aid.
