GREENSBORO, N.C.- This week's Waiting Child is kind-hearted, intelligent and handy with his hands.

Antonio's taken apart lawn mowers, watches and yes even bikes, "I can take a bicycle apart and put it back together before you can blink your eyes."

He says it's the challenge that excites him he says,"When you actually put it back together and you accomplish it.  It feels great its like a feather in your hat."

Antonio just turned 17 years old and hopes to get a degree in Diesel Engineering Mechanics after high school.

Even though he likes to get dirty with building things, Antonio has a softer side. He enjoys helping and uplifting people around him.  Antonio says it's hard to be strong  for others when you don't have a family, "I feel like I'm missing out on a lot."

You can help Antonio feel complete by considering adoption.  He says all it takes is love, "Just a sense of security like you got my back no matter what.  No matter what I'm going through you're going to help me go through it.

If you think Antonio would be a good fit for your family contact The North Carolina Children's Home Society.
