Uncle Scotts Root Beer Float

Makes 2 Floats

1 Pint               Vanilla Ice Cream

2-12 Ounce       Uncle Scotts Root Beer

To Taste           Homemade Whip Cream-recipe below

 

Whip Cream:

2 Cups             Heavy Cream

1/4 Cup            Powdered Sugar

Place the heavy cream and powdered sugar in a stand up mixer fitted with the whisk attachment and begin to mix on low speed. Once sugar and cream have been incorporated raise the speed on the mixer gradually and mix until whip cream forms and has stiff peaks. The whip cream should be light and fluffy.

Floats:

Place 2 or 3 scoops of ice cream in a tall glass, pour root beer over ice cream and top with whip cream.
