App Lets Guys Share Dirty DetailsCHARLOTTE, NC--When it comes to hooking up, everybody knows guys talk. A new app lets dudes virtual high-five each other with every encounter. Guys can upload pictures, even talk about how far they scored with a girl. In the movie The Social Network, rating girls on Facemash was a concept before Facebook. In reality tech guru's are pushing the envelope one step further. David Fontenot is one the co-founders of an app that does just that, "It lets you securely share your hookups with your friends." It's called Playbook, the app lets "bros" upload pictures of girls they've hooked up with and even log how far they scored. Local college girls say Playbook is degrading and are shocked that something like this exists. The Playbook app uses the classic baseball field model to let one another know what base they made it to with a girl. Fontenot says it's up for your own interpretation but classic definitions are the following, "First base is like you kissed the girl, the second base is you got a little more like into than that, the third base is where you almost had sex and did other things, and the fourth base is you hit a home run and had sex." While getting everyone up to bat is going to take some time, Fotenot says Playbook is just a way to talk in private, "It's something that guys are already talking to their friends about, it just makes it more secure."
