Study Time Shrimp and Rice

 

½ Cup                             Long Grain White Rice

1 Cup                              Water

1 Tablespoons               Olive Oil

To Taste                         Kosher Salt and Black Pepper

8 Each                            Shrimp-individually quick frozen shrimp 21-25-thawed or pre-cooked salad shrimp

Add rice, water, oil, salt and pepper to a microwave safe dish and mix to combine.

In a separate bowl toss shrimp with oil and season with salt and pepper.

Cook rice in microwave for 8 minutes partially covered.

Add the shrimp on top of the rice and cook for one more minute.

Leave in the microwave for an additional minute to finish steaming the rice and shrimp.

Fluff rice, re-season if necessary and serve.
