CONCORD, N.C. - 40-year-old David Matthew Hallman, known as Matt to his friends, is behind bars, charged with four counts of rape and one count of rape of a child.  His fiance, Mary Williams, is charged with rape of a child and four counts of sex offense with a child.  And his ex-wife, Elizabeth Blake, has been arrested on exploitation of a minor.

Another of Hallman's ex-wives calls this case a child porn ring investigation.  She tells us her children are victims and helped cops identify 11 other victims.  She says, "I wanna be able to get kids to understand that they don't have to be afraid to talk."

We are concealing the woman's identity in order to protect her kids.  The woman says she was married to Hallman for eight years.  This is her warning for other parents: "It doesn't matter how good you know the person, you never ever ever really know," she says.

A search warrant identifies a house in Concord that Hallman shares with his father as the place where abuse took place.  One young girl told detectives that over a two year period, Hallman photographed and recorded their sexual encounters.  If they were "good enough," she says he'd share them via email with another man.

The unidentified ex-wife says anyone who may have received pictures or video should come forward.  The only thing she wishes her kids hadn't done was wait to speak up.  "My kids, I never knew. My kids never once withdrew from anyone or said they didn't want to go with their dad or anything."

During a jail visit this week, Matt Hallman told his father he wants to speak to us.  We requested an appointment through the Cabarrus County jail.  A captain tells us inmates are not allowed to give news interviews.
