Accused Killer Goes on Trial

BALTIMORE, M.D.--The man charged with killing Monroe teenager Phylicia Barnes is set to go on trial Monday in Baltimore.

Police say Micheal Johnson killed Barnes then dumped her body in a river. He pleaded not guilty in June.

Barnes disappeared while visiting family in Maryland over the Christmas holiday in 2010. Prosecutors say Johnson killed Barnes in her half-sister's apartment, then moved her body in a 35 gallon tub.
