Funeral Fund for 2-Year-Old Closed Due to ControversyGASTONIA, N.C.--The funeral donation account that had been set up for a two-year-old who died last week in Gaston County has been closed. The manager at the Carolina Cooperative Federal Credit Union says the Addison Lanham Funeral Fund is closed since there was too much controversy surrounding it. A local funeral home had already offered to provide the services for free. The account only had $20, which will be turned over to the funeral home. |
