LANCASTER, S.C. -- Police are searching for a man accused of injuring two officers in Lancaster while fleeing the scene of an accident.

Investigators say 19-year-old Tyzhe Hough is wanted for attempted murder and several other charges.

He was allegedly involved in a traffic accident on Sunday afternoon on S. Market Street and Chesterfield Avenue.  Hough was ordered to exit his car after an officer detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.  Hough refused and proceeded to drive away from the scene.

Police say he struck two officers in the process.  One of the officers was able to get into his vehicle and pursue Hough.  The suspect eventually lost control of his vehicle and crashed on Beacon Road.

Officers say Hough then ran from the scene of the second crash on foot.  Police were unsuccessful in locating him.

Anyone with information about Hough's whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.  Both officers were treated and released from the hospital.
