Man Arrested After Taxi Driver Killed In South Charlotte Wreck
CHARLOTTE, N.C.--Police have charged a man for an accident that killed a Charlotte taxi driver.
Investigators say the taxi driver tried to make a left turn onto E. Woodlawn Road when his vehicle collided with a BMW driven by Justin Miller.
Cops say Miller ran from the scene and was located a short time later. The taxi driver was ejected from the vehicle and died from the injuries he sustained in the crash.
Miller has been charged with felony death by vehicle, felony hit and run, driving while impaired and driving while license revoked. Miller was driving on a suspended license for a pending DWI arrest.
The name of the taxi driver has not been released at this time.
