Man Convicted of 3 Counts of Statutory Sex OffenseCATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. -- A Catawba County man plead guilty and was convicted of three counts of Statutory Sex Offense with a 13, 14, and 15 year old in Catawba County Criminal Superior Court. Jerry Wayne Fisher, 42, of Maiden, North Carolina, was sentenced to no less than 400 months and no more than 498 months active in the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction.The crimes occurred in between December 2010 and April 2011 in Catawba County. Invesitgator David Eckard from the Catawba County Sheriff's Department handled the investigation and Assistant District Attorney Michael Van Buren prosecuted the case. The HonorableForrest Bridges presided over the case. Fisher will be transported to Central Prison in Raleigh for processing.
