Man Faces Federal Charges After Slapping Toddler During Flight

MINNEAPOLIS, M.N.--A grumpy old man that parents say slapped their fussy baby mid-flight faces federal charges.
The mother says her seatmate reeked of alcohol and was rude the entire flight from Minneapolis to Atlanta.
When the woman's 19-month old son started fussing she says the man used a racial slur and then slapped the toddler's face.
Bennett says her son gets nervous around strangers since the slap. The man is charged with simple assault. His attorney says he will plead not guilty.
