Police Investigating NW Charlotte Attempted KidnappingCHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police in the North Division are investigating two alleged incidents where a male attempted to lure a child into his vehicle. Both incidents occurred on Sunday, December 16 and Monday, December 17, when a man attempted to lure a 12-year old into his car on Mayer House Court near Rozzelles Ferry Road. The suspect is described as a white male with spiked hair, in his 30's and driving a red pick-up truck. In both instances, the child fled on foot and made no contact with the suspect. A geo-notification was released to the surrounding area to alert residents. The North Division has increased patrols in the area. If anyone observes this suspect or anything else suspicious, you are asked to call 911 immediately. |
