Police Investigating Sex Assault That Happened On UNCC Campus

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--Some UNC-Charlotte students are afraid to walk home alone following a sex assault on campus.  Others say they dread taking evening classes. 

The attack happened Wednesday in a restroom inside the Fretwell building.  So far no arrests have been made but officers are patrolling the campus and looking for any suspicious activity. 

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the UNC-Charlotte Police Department.
