Police: Serial Bank Robber ArrestedCHARLOTTE, N.C.--Police say they arrested a serial bank robber. Anthony Watson was arrested Monday at a hotel on North Tryon Street. Investigators say he robbed a BB&T on Sardis Road North. They also believe he is a suspect in at least three other Charlotte area bank robberies. Detectives say Watson was recently released from prison in Virginia and is currently on probation for robbery. |
